Show Them What you Stand For!

When you host a Stand With Africa event at your church or school wear a Stand With Africa t-shirt.

Purchase iron-on transfers for light fabrics at your local compter store or office supply company such as Office depot or Office Max. "Invent It!" or "Avery" publishes such products for inkjet printers. Buy inexpensive tee shirts and follow the simple instructions included in the iron-on package.

Print the logos from the following page onto these sheets, which you can iron onto your t-shirt. Wear the Youth take a Stand logo on the front right side of the t-shirt and the Stand With Africa logo on the back, or just wear the Stand with Africa on the front, you decide! You can wear the t-shirts during these Stand With Africa events:

Leading worship such as a Sunday service, Sunday school opening, or a school chapel service.
Raising awareness at events such as showing Stand With Africa videos, or putting on a skit.
Fund raising events such as a car wash, or spaghetti dinner.

Select one of the following logos to print or download to your iron-on transfer. Each logo is pre-sized and pre-formatted for printing. (Note the each logo will print backwards but when ironed-on, will display correctly.)

ELCA members can contact the ELCA World Hunger Appeal office at 800/638-3522, ext. 2764 to purchase a $10 a pre-made Stand With Arica t-shirt. Shirts are black with yellow lettering and have a small ELCA World Hunger logo on the front and a large Stand With Africa logo on the back with a description of the campaign.
