Welcome to Masese's world. Masese is a fourteen-year-old AIDS orphan who lives in Kisii, Kenya. She is the head of her household and takes care of her three younger brothers. We will learn what life is like for Masese and many other people who live in East Africa. We will see that we have several things in common with East Africans and some things that are very different.
